had to supplant a curlicue pack.
i take the not working with me.
firstly whatever idea why these items are then fragile? crap circuitry? poor materials ?
is there any where they tin repair these things?

I believe that they potted,, this makes repairing them very difficult,,, yes it is odd that v12 coils pack take a very poor history for failure

Problem is allegedlly attributed to the cylinder shutdown feature placing more stress on the coils due to inconsistent spark plug wear. This can exist de-activated via star. More than prevalent on pre 2003 cars.

Wow....never thought almost it in that manner.
Having a 2004 I presume the car will have cylinder shutdown?
Any potential consequence of removing this selection via STAR.?
Would worldwide 600'south take this option or is cylinder shutdown merely in revenue enhancement them high countries?

At what sort of mileage should ane await this inconsistency ?
reading form other posts and other websites , these curlicue packs are a hurting.. even new ones accept failed inside fifteen-20K miles!!!

Most Coil Packs neglect due to the increased resistance from worn or lower quality plug leads.
Changing plug leads at the same time can increase the life of any curlicue pack massively.
